It sort of surprises me that I never jumped on the blogging bandwagon before this. I decided that this blog would be about my interest, the topic I love talking about, and most importantly my passion....MOVIES!

My plan for this blog is to make it a review blog. A place where I will review and critique movies. I don’t plan on putting any entertainment news/gossip on here like Perez Hilton…I have always enjoyed critiquing movies and creating a mindful of opinions and judgments. My aspirations to be a entertainment reporter and future critic, make this a nice beginning.

I will try to review only current stuff. Movies that are in theaters or recently released on DVD in the past 3 months. If you want to hear my “views” on a certain movie let me know, I’ll watch it and do my best. The reviews will be judged on a 5 star scale, why 5 you ask? Well, 4 just doesn’t give you enough room…with 5 you can at least have a happy medium.

Before I go, you're probably wondering why “Newstalgia”? Well, because I saw it on a sign at the mall and thought, that’s it! That’s my title! Newstalgia means the love of old things from the past revived in what designers call 'the contemporary classic'. So to better explain the significance I look at it this way: I love movies, who doesn't? Constantly on a daily basis that form of entertainment is being revived, hopefully one day to be new classics.
